Signature is the library built to be relied on. The same complete library as One, on a solid-state drive with no memory card to corrupt, a separate router that covers the whole house, and an on-device assistant that answers questions only from what is on the device and shows you the exact passage it used.
How it works
Plug it into a wall outlet, a car charger or a USB power bank. It creates its own Wi-Fi network. Join it from any phone, tablet or laptop, the same way you join home Wi-Fi, and the library's home page opens with one search box across everything on the device. There is no internet connection, no app to install, no account and no subscription, ever.
The home screen's Right now panel puts bleeding, CPR, water, shelter, hypothermia and poisoning one tap away. The filesystem is read-only, so pulling the plug mid-use does no harm.
The Library Assistant
Ask a question in plain words. The assistant searches the library, answers only from passages it found, and shows the source beside the answer so you can read it yourself. If the library does not contain an answer, it says so. It runs entirely on the device; nothing leaves your home.
